Leroy Johnson
(long admired by the knowing)

Making Philly (Keeping it Real), 2004

Urban debris of
Philadelphia is the texture
and palette that
Mr. Johnson uses along
with current and past events
to create his "world".
In reference this work he stated,
"This is my reality show."

How to make your Leroy Johnson Making Philly desktop folding screen:
1. Download all six panels: right mouse-click on each panel and "Save As..." to a folder on your computer.
2. Open all 6 saved files and Print out each color panel at 100% original size on white card-stock or heavy paper.
3. Trim down excess white paper border on individual panels with scissors or a blade.
4. Layout all of pages in a horizontal line, flush bottom and in order from left to right.
5. Flip all the images toward you (in place) so the backside is facing up.
6. Apply transparent tape along each vertical edge, using the tape as a hinge for the screen.
6. Fold zig-zag at the seams to stabilize.
